The signed agreements allow Belgazprombank to attract long-term financing from Eximbank of Russia for on-lending to Belarusian companies purchasing equipment, machinery, capital and other goods and services in Russian Federation.
– We are grateful to our colleagues for the establishment of strategic cooperation. Belgazprombank will attract resources from Eximbank of Russia at favorable rates in the framework of the High-Technology Exports Credit Support Program of the Russian Federation, - pointed out Sergey Shaban, Deputy Chairman of the Board. – For Belgazprombank’s customers it means that we can reduce almost by two times interest rates on loans in foreign currency for the purchase of Russian goods, works and services. Today we have signed agreements for the disbursement of the first two loan facilities according to which Belgazprombank will provide its customers with credits to pay for the agricultural equipment, machinery and spare parts supplied by Russian companies.
– We are delighted to start cooperation with Belgazprombank, - emphasized Levan Zolotarev, Deputy Chairman of the Board. – The arrangements achieved are a logical realization of the Eximbank of Russia’s strategy aimed at the building of long-term cooperation with financial institutions from countries where Russian export is in demand. Our product line provides for financing for the period of up to10 years. And I am sure that the start of our cooperation with one of the leading banks of the Republic of Belarus will allow us to support our clientele and facilitate more active trade between our countries.
